Scam: India’s GOLDen chance?

"Speak of the devil and the devil is here". The proverb possibly will come true in coming years. Only difference is that instead of devil, its 'gold medal'. Perplexed? Remember in my last post, I had expressed my concern over India not winning a single gold medal in this Olympics? And how I said we have potential players but the launch seems to be the problem? Well all the worries will come to a halt very soon; we wont be Olympics gold medal ravenous nation anymore! Yes, it is not a dream. Feel free to pinch yourselves or bang your head on the wall to check if you are in dreamland. Considering the increasing number of scams around the nation, sports council of India has forwarded a request to IOC to take in "scam" as an event for Rio Olympics. This decision came after Indian scammers’ amazing performance in Coal gate scam, which broke all the national records.  According to figures, it is one of the important games played internationally. "Such sports should be encouraged and needs international attention. India is performing incredibly well" said sports council head. China and USA has already expressed their contention. My undisclosed sources say it is nothing but their anxiety that India would “rip-off” all the three Olympics medals (gold, silver and bronze), if it is approved as an event for 2016.
India's astonishing performance has always stunned other countries. India has multiple teams for both men's and women's category. "No other country is as expert as us, we are the masters. We have more than one team and individual players in men's and women's category. 'Scam' is our sure shot for gold, more than any other events in coming Olympics" said honorable sports minister. Sources say India is already pressurizing the Olympic committee. Will it be our dream come true? If it is, we can expect more than two gold medals (men's and women's team and individual events) in our kit next Olympics. The Golden era is not far. Let us hope things will fall into places. India, indeed, is shining and from 2016, it will shine dazzling with gold light.

  2. Shreya, great humor :) True, perhaps the only field where Indians would qualify, contest and win all three categories of deserving medals in an Olympics would be in CORRUPTION without sex discrimination. Both Males & Females would glitter :)

The Scams are only getting fatter by the minute. So are the objections / declination / counter allegations so on and so forth. The daily drama is endless.

So far, Japan, China, S. Korea and Philippines were leading CORRUPT gold contenders. They have all be taken aback by the sudden surge in competence by the Indians who have now emerged the undisputed leaders by a lengthy mile. To catch up would be next to impossible however much they attempt to primarily because the proportion of loot is perhaps some of their GDP!

GOD save India! Keep it up Shreya!
